Pierre Cardin - Duck Tales AW12

D1 Design & Creative were asked to work with the creative team at Pierre Cardin to develop a new style of window schemes for the brand, starting with Autumn Winter 2012.  They were keen to begin reflecting Pierre Cardin’s innovative design style by adding humor and quirkiness.

Duck Tales was an idea we came up with based on the outdoor lake imagery supplied by Pierre Cardin for AW12, but developed into a fun take on the outdoor theme, filling the window beds with artificial mallard ducks. It was lighthearted and humorous.

The scheme has been installed in 126 windows across the world in Pierre Cardin stores and has been very well recieved by the client and their customers - "Duck Tales has been a fabulous adventure and created a handwriting for the brand that we will hope to continue." - Visual Merchandising Director for Pierre Cardin
